An Itinerary of our 8 days Taiwan 2025 Trip visiting Hsinchu, Taichung, Miaoli, Nantou and Taipei counties. Photo highlights of the attractions we visited and sharing tips on travel in Taiwan. Specially went down to the Miniso x Mofusand ice cream pop-up store in Bugis+. Event runs from 20 December 2025 to 11 Jan 2026. She must go there on the first day and we ended up queuing for almost an hour because she just cannot wait. My girl loves the character, plushies and blind boxes. Bought quite a few variety - ice cream plushie, blind box with hanging charm, stationery and some other keychains and bag charms for her friends too as Christmas gifts. They were just too cute to resist! #mofusand #mofusandminiso #cutechristmasgifts #popupsingapore Our last day in Taiwan was to visit the Taipei Fine Arts Museum. We are artistic people and I especially love visiting creative museums. We had visited the National Palace Museum and Songshan Cultural and Creative park on our previous trips so I searched up on what other creative museum to visit and found this place. The galleries we visited this period held the art creations from “Whispers of the Horizon” which were from the Taipei Biennial. The works were a bit “dark” and “odd”, not paintings but items put together to form a story (which you had to read from little information boards at the side on the wall - in both English and Chinese. However, to my ten year old, she could not appreciate it that much and found them “creepy”. She also did not bother to read the descriptions. We did not mind browsing through these kind of artworks as it was quite fresh to us ( usually we only viewed paintings) but did not understand them as well. Still, it was an interesting experience to visit the art museum and have an insight into Taiwan and international contemporary fine art. Bags had to be deposited in a safe locker and no eating/drinking allowed while browsing.
