We toured South Korea from 30 May – 5 Jun 2017 (Summer) for 7 days with 2 children (8 yrs old and 19 months old) and my parents (above 60 years old). Here’s a summary of our South Korea Seoul and Jeju Island Itinerary. The Airline we took was Korean Air  and the flight hours was about 7 hours.

Clothing for Hike & Walk (Summer – June):

• Wear Shoes with Traction as it is slippery when hiking on rough terrain such as areas around the waterfall and Mt. Hallasan. For this, we specially bought a hiking boot for Dar at Decathlon. They are the only place we found with hiking boots for kids. Our hiking boots are the Merrell Brand and it served us so well, protecting our feet from tiredness or accidentally twisting our ankle as we trudged through rocks (huge ones).
• Waterproof & Windproof Jacket/Parka with Hoods: This helped to block off some intense heat and sunlight from the summer sun.
• Sun Protection: Sunscreen /Sunglasses /HATS (a MUST as the sun was really intense)

0110 – Overnight Flight on Korean Air to Incheon International Airport
0842 – Arrived in Seoul, Clear Customs and Buy T-Money (Fare storage cards for subway rides)
0924 – Taxi Transfer to RoinHome

• RoinHome in Mapo-gu
• First Subway Ride to Hongdae area for lunch
• Changdeokgung
• Tour in Huwon (Secret Garden)
• Dongdaemum Toy Street / Snack here
• Sunset & Night Cityscape at N-Seoul Tower
• Dinner at a restaurant that sells grilled saba

DAY 2 (SEOUL)

• Simple Breakfast provided at RoinHome
• Seoul Grand Park – Theme Garden and Seoul Zoo
• Snacks on the way in/out of park/subway rides, so no formal lunch
• Lotte World Tower
• Bukchon Hanok Museum and Village
• Dinner at Tosokchon Samgyetang
